Iced Tea Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 2 Tea bags
  • 2 Lemons, large
  • 4 tbsp Caster Sugar
  • Water
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Pop the kettle on to boil, and in a small mug place both tea bags and the sugar. Pour over the boiling water, and stir to dissolve the sugar. Allow to infuse for 4-5 minutes, as you want this to be strong.

  2. Meanwhile, fill a large drinks pitcher with ice. Into this, squeeze the juice of the lemons, ensuring to extract as much juice as possible.

  3. Remove the tea bags from the infused tea, ensuring to press with a spoon to ensure as much flavour has been extracted as possible. Pour the hot tea into the pitcher over the ice, and top up with cold water. Stir well, and serve.
