If you love green tea anywhere near as much as me, you’re going to want to make this incredible Minty Iced Green Tea immediately. Sweetened with honey, this iced green tea makes for a fantastic drink to enjoy on a warm, sunny day, and the mint gives it an incredibly refreshing flavour too! When infusing green tea, you’ve got to always be careful not to scorch it or oversleep it, as this may result in a bitter taste, which nobody wants!
Both mint and green tea are thought to be incredibly healthy and rather good for you. They are both rich in antioxidants, and are fantastic to include regularly in your diet. Mint is great for aiding digestion and soothing the stomach, which is why I love the stuff! That makes this a great drink to enjoy after a meal, to aid the digestion but also to refresh and cleanse your palate. Green tea is thought to help increase your metabolism too, which is why I love to have a big mug of it in the morning with my breakfast.
I used honey here to sweeten the drink, but you could easily substitute it with regular granulated sugar instead if you wanted to make it vegan friendly, or if you don’t have honey to hand. It’s an incredibly refreshing drink to enjoy after a meal or sat in the garden on a warm and sunny day!

Pick the leaves off the sprig of mint and place in a small mug, along with the green tea bag. Boil some water, and allow it to cool to approx. 80 degrees C. Infuse the mint and green tea for 2-3 mins, and then stir in the honey.
